By booking a photography session with Opus Lumiere, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.

1. Booking & Payment

  • A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your chosen date and time. The deposit amount is fixed based on the selected service.

  • Your booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been received and a confirmation email has been issued.

  • The remaining balance is due by the day of the session unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

2. Cancellations & Refunds

Opus Lumiere understands that plans can change. The following refund and rescheduling policy applies:

  • 15+ days before session start time: 100% deposit refund.

  • 7–14 days before session: 50% deposit refund or one-time free rescheduling.

  • 3–6 days before session: One-time rescheduling permitted, subject to a 50% rebooking fee (based on original deposit).

  • Less than 72 hours (3 days) before session: No refund or reschedule available.

Reschedules are subject to availability. Additional fees may apply for upgrades or location changes. All requests must be submitted in writing to the contact email provided above and must originate from the same email address used during the booking process.

 

3. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must arrive on time for the session. Late arrivals may result in reduced session time or cancellation without refund.

  • Clients are expected to behave respectfully and follow any reasonable instructions during the session.

  • For “At Home” sessions, clients must ensure the space is clean, safe, and adequately lit for photography. Opus Lumiere reserves the right to cancel or refuse service if the environment is unsafe or unsuitable.

 

4. Delivery of Photos

  • Edited digital photos will be delivered within four (4) weeks from the session date via a secure link.

  • No physical prints are included unless separately agreed upon.

 

5. Copyright & Usage

  • Opus Lumiere retains full copyright and intellectual property rights to all photographs taken.

  • Clients are granted a non-commercial, personal-use license. Photos may be shared with friends and family or used on personal social media accounts (with credit where possible).

  • Commercial or editorial use is not permitted without prior written consent.

 

6. Image Use by Opus Lumiere

  • Opus Lumière reserves the right to use selected images for promotional purposes, including but not limited to the business website, social media, and portfolios.

  • Clients may request in writing that specific images not be used publicly, and such requests will be respected where reasonable.

 

7. Force Majeure

If Opus Lumiere is unable to perform the session due to circumstances beyond control (e.g. illness, injury, accident, extreme weather, or emergencies), the client will be offered:

  • A full refund of the deposit or

  • An alternative session date, based on mutual availability.

Opus Lumiere shall not be held liable for any indirect loss or damages resulting from such cancellation or rescheduling.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

  • While every effort is made to ensure your satisfaction, Opus Lumiere’s liability for any claim, breach, or loss shall be limited to the amount paid for the booked service.

  • Opus Lumiere is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings during a session.

 

9. Acceptance

By proceeding with a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
