Yes - every Opus Lumière session of two hours or more includes The Growing Gallery, a private, password-protected 3D gallery of your finished photographs that you walk through and share with family. It is free for two years and gains a floor with every shoot. One-hour and 1.5-hour sessions don’t include it.

Late morning to mid-afternoon usually gives the softest, most flattering light, but we plan the timing around your home’s windows and how the daylight moves through your rooms.

Most parents-to-be book between around 28 and 36 weeks, when the bump is beautifully rounded and you are still comfortable. Earlier or later is fine too - just get in touch and we will advise.

Yes - a maternity photoshoot at home is one of the most natural ways to photograph a pregnancy: window light, rooms you love and no travelling in the later weeks. If you would rather be in the pictures than behind the phone, Joy and Annie bring the lighting, the direction and ten years of posing experience to your door.

Between 28 and 36 weeks is the sweet spot: the bump is full and rounded and most mothers are still comfortable standing, sitting and changing outfits. If you are pregnant with twins or have been told baby may arrive early, aim for 26 to 30 weeks instead.

Try standing side-on to a large window in the late morning with the room lights off, and prop your phone on a tripod at bump height. Fitted dresses or a simple top photograph better than busy patterns, and a partner’s hands on the bump give you something natural to do.
