Booking Availability
How do I book a photography session with Opus Lumière?
You can book directly through our website by visiting our pricing page. Simply select your preferred service, choose an available date and time from the calendar, and complete the booking form.
When should I book my session?
We recommend booking your session 2–4 weeks in advance, especially during busy seasons. Check our calendar for any last-minute openings!
Is my session confirmed right after I book?
Your session is confirmed once we receive your deposit payment and you receive a confirmation email from us.

Prices and Packages
How much does a photoshoot in London cost?
Sessions start at £225 outdoors, £295 in the studio and £395 at home. The price is set by two things only: where we photograph you, and how long we spend together.
What are your studio photoshoot prices?
Studio sessions run from 1.5 to 4.5 hours: £295 for 1.5 hours and 30 hand-edited photographs, £395 for 2.5 hours and 50, £495 for 3.5 hours and 70, and £595 for 4.5 hours and 90.
What are your outdoor photoshoot prices?
Outdoor sessions run from one to four hours: £225 for one hour and 20 hand-edited photographs, £325 for two hours and 40, £425 for three hours and 60, and £525 for four hours and 80.
What are your at-home photoshoot prices?
At-home sessions run from one to four hours: £395 for one hour and 20 hand-edited photographs, £495 for two hours and 40, £595 for three hours and 60, and £695 for four hours and 80.
What is included in the price?
A pre-session plan, a fully guided session, a private online gallery and your hand-edited high-resolution photographs, with full rights to print and share.

Payments and Deposits
Do I need to pay the full amount upfront?
No. A fixed deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your session. The remaining balance is due by the session date.
Is the deposit refundable?
Our refund policy depends on how far in advance you cancel. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for full details.

Cancellations and Rescheduling
What is your policy for cancellations or rescheduling?
You can cancel or reschedule your booking. The terms are as follows: 15+ days in advance: full refund 7–14 days: 50% refund or one-time free reschedule 3–6 days: Reschedule with 50% rebooking fee Less than 3 days: No refund or reschedule.
How do I request a cancellation or reschedule?
All requests must be submitted in writing to contact@opuslumiere.com and must be sent from the email address used during booking.

What types of sessions do you offer?
We offer three types:
- Studio Sessions
- Outdoor Sessions
- At Home Sessions
What is the duration of each photography session?
Studio sessions run from 1.5 to 4.5 hours. Outdoor and at-home sessions run from one to four hours. The price is set by the length of the session and the number of hand-edited photographs you receive.
Do you provide outfits for the photoshoot?
We don’t provide outfits as part of our standard service. Wearing your own clothes ensures the photos reflect your personal style and comfort. Feel free to bring your favourite outfits. We also offer a selection of curated props for studio or at-home sessions. If you need help with wardrobe or sourcing dresses, please contact us in advance.
What should I do to prepare for an “At Home” session?
Please ensure the space is clean, safe, and well-lit. Remove any clutter and allow room for movement and equipment if needed.

After the Session
When will I receive my photos?
A private proofing gallery arrives within two to four days of your session. Once you have chosen your favourites, your hand-edited high-resolution photographs follow within two to four weeks of your selection.
What is the FOCUS Method?
Every shoot follows the same five steps - Foundations, Orchestration, Calm Capture, Unveiling and Signature Finish: a free consultation answered within one working day, a pre-session plan built around light, a calm and gently guided session, your private proofing gallery within 2–4 days, and hand-edited images within 2–4 weeks. How will I receive my photos after the session?
By email. First a link to your private proofing gallery, where you choose your favourites, and then a second link to download your hand-edited high-resolution photographs.

Copyright and Usage
Can I use the photos however I want?
Photos are for personal use only. You may share them with friends, family, or on personal social media. Commercial use is not permitted without prior written consent.
Who owns the photos?
Opus Lumière retains full copyright to all photographs taken.
Will my photos be shared publicly?
We may use selected images for promotional purposes (e.g. portfolio, website, or social media). You may request in writing that specific images not be used publicly, and such requests will be respected where reasonable.

Can my AI assistant check prices and availability for me?
Yes. Opus Lumière offers a free, read-only connection for AI assistants (an MCP endpoint). If your assistant supports custom connectors - Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others - just add this URL, no sign-in needed: https://opuslumiere.com/wp-json/opus-booking/v1/mcp. Your assistant can then list our packages and prices, check our opening hours, and see live appointment availability. Booking always finishes here on our website - you choose your slot and pay your deposit securely at checkout. We never take payment or personal details through an assistant, so if anything asks for your card details on our behalf, please decline.
