At-home sessions
Where you feel most at ease
There is nothing quite like being photographed in your own space, surrounded by the details and people that make it home.
What you pay for
What an at-home photoshoot in London costs
An at home photoshoot London session starts at £395 for one hour and twenty hand-edited photographs, and runs to £695 for four hours and eighty.
It is the most expensive of the three settings, and it is worth saying why: we come to you, we work with the light and space your home gives us rather than the light we would have built, and sessions tend to move at the pace of whoever is smallest in the room. That is the point of them.
Two hours at £495 is the package most families choose. It gives forty photographs and enough time for a newborn to be fed and settled twice, or for a toddler to lose interest and find it again.
Why an at-home session
Warm, personal, authentic
Comfort and familiarity
Be photographed where you feel most at ease, in your own space.
Authentic moments
Natural, candid storytelling of everyday life and connection.
A personal backdrop
Your home brings a warmth and meaning that no studio can replicate.
On the day
What actually happens when we arrive
We look at the light first
Before anything else we walk the rooms and find where the daylight falls. That usually decides where we start, and it is often not the room people expect - bedrooms and landings frequently beat living rooms.
Nothing needs staging
Your home does not need to be tidy, large, or recently decorated. We work with the space you have, and a lived-in feel tends to make the photographs warmer rather than worse.
The session sets its own pace
At-home sessions are the least directed of the three settings. If a baby needs feeding or a child needs ten minutes of not being photographed, that is time well spent, and it is one reason the longer packages suit families so well.
Daylight sets the start time, not the clock
Because we work with what comes through your windows, the best hour to start depends on which way your rooms face and what month it is. We will ask about both when you book, and suggest a time rather than leave you to guess.

At-home photography FAQ
Does my home need to be tidy or large?
Not at all. We work with the light and space you have, and a little natural lived-in feel often adds warmth and authenticity.
Which rooms work best?
Rooms with plenty of natural light are ideal. We will have a quick look when we arrive and choose the loveliest spots.
Do you travel across London?
Yes. We cover London and the surrounding areas. Let us know your location and we will confirm any travel details.
What if the weather is poor on the day?
It rarely matters. An at-home session is indoors, so grey skies only soften the light coming through your windows. It is the setting we most often suggest for winter dates.
Can we photograph outside as well?
If you have a garden or a doorstep you love, yes - tell us in advance and we will build it into the plan.
Do you need much space to work in?
No. Flats and small rooms photograph perfectly well - we work close, use the light from one window, and the tighter framing often suits the intimacy of an at-home session anyway.
How far in advance should we book?
For newborn sessions, as early in the pregnancy as you like, and we will pencil a window rather than a date. For everything else, tell us your preferred date and we will confirm what is free.
