Consultation & planning
We start with a relaxed chat about the look you love - editorial, candid, moody or bright - and plan the lighting, backdrops and feel of your session together with your photographer. A booking secures your date.
The session
We have the lighting set before you arrive. Across the session we move through different backdrops and looks, guiding you gently while capturing real moments - no experience needed, and plenty of time to enjoy it.
Selection & delivery
You’ll receive a private proofing gallery within two to four days to choose your favourites; your hand-edited, high-resolution images then follow within two to four weeks of your selection. Optional prints, wall art and albums can be arranged afterwards.

Do I get a 3D virtual gallery with my session?
Yes - every Opus Lumière session of two hours or more includes The Growing Gallery, a private, password-protected 3D gallery of your finished photographs that you walk through and share with family. It is free for two years and gains a floor with every shoot. One-hour and 1.5-hour sessions don’t include it.
What should we wear for a studio session?
Solid, coordinating colours work better than exact matches, and it’s best to avoid logos, busy patterns and thin stripes, which compete with studio lighting. Bring a second outfit and a few accessories for variety. We’ll share specific guidance in your consultation, based on the look and backdrops you choose.
Can we bring props or a change of outfit?
Absolutely - meaningful pieces and a few outfit changes add variety and personality to your gallery. Just let us know what you have in mind when we plan your session.
